Thieves make off with $1300 worth of eggs, bacon, ham

SALISBURY, N.C. -- Some hungry thieves broke in to a produce market in Rowan County overnight Monday.

The Rowan County Sheriff's Office took the report Monday morning at 7 a.m a the Father and Son Produce Market in the 1700 block of Sherrills Ford Road.

According to the incident report, among the items stolen were Habanero cheddar cheese, butter spread, center-sliced country ham, country ham with bone, biscuits, sausage, marbled mild cheese, livermush, bacon, eggs, fat back and lemonade.

According to the Sheriff's Office, the value of the stolen goods is $1387.
