FORT MILL, S.C. -- Three suspects accused of conspiracy have been booked into the York County Detention Center.
Officers originally responded to John Boys on Spratt Street in Fort Mill for a robbery call on Nov. 17.
Police say an employee, Megan Wright, told them a man came into the store and demanded the money at the register, saying he had a gun. Wright said he gave the man an unknown about of money.
After further investigation, detectives determined Robert Turner was responsible for the robbery. Through an interview, police say they also learned Turner worked with Tytravious Wylie, Wright’s boyfriend. Detectives believe they all conspired to make the incident appear as a robbery.
All three suspects have been booked into jail without incident. Wylie’s bond has been set at $100,000 and Wright’s at $70,000. Turner had already been booked following his arrest. He was not granted bond.
