Kannapolis police have arrested three people after an armed robbery Wednesday at a restaurant.
Police said the suspects, Damonte Kerrick Harper, Jaquavis Dewayne Stockton, and Latonya Jean Stockton are all charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and resisting public officers.
Police said they were called to the China Buffet on North Cannon Boulevard in Kannapolis around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. Police were told two men dressed in all black and armed with firearms had robbed the business. According to police, one suspect had a handgun and the other had a shot gun.
Witnesses told police the suspects left the scene and had earlier seen the men getting out of a white minivan.
Officers located a white Dodge Caravan nearby, which police said was being driven by Latonya Stockton. Police said they located Harper and Jaquavis Stockton a short time later on Jackson Park Road.
