CONCORD, N.C. -- A string of armed robberies in Concord may be solved with the arrest of three teenagers.
Police say they're behind robberies that occurred in the first weekend in August.
Gavin Barszca, 17, Bradley Blackwelder, 18, and Steven Jurado, 17, demanded money from an employee at La Palmita convenience store on Kerr Street NW, police say. One of them allegedly pointed a gun before they took the money and ran off on foot.
Later that night, a person walking in the 200 block of Corban Avenue SE reported being robbed at gunpoint.
Barszcz and Blackwelder are charged with robbery of the LaPalmita store and the robbery of the person on Corban. Jurado is only charged with the Corban incident.
A third robbery occurred at the Branchview Express Store, though they have not been charged with this crime.
Surveillance video shows a fourth suspect may have been involved in the La Palmita robbery. Investigators are still trying to identify that person.
