LINCOLN COUNTY, N.C. -- A larceny investigation led deputies to the twentieth meth lab found this year in Lincoln County.

Detectives responded to the 1200 block of Hull Grove Church Road after getting a lead in a local larceny case.

Police say when they arrived, the suspects admitted to having a “shake and bake” meth operation in an outbuilding.

Kenneth Michael Ingle, 28, and a 16-year-old also on scene are charged with manufacturing a controlled substance and possessing meth precursors.

A state cleaning crew was brought in to remove the ingredients including lye, lithium batteries and the drug pseudoephedrine.

Deputies also arrested a third person at the residence on warrants in a separate case. Robyn Michelle Mellon, 39, faces stolen property charges for allegedly breaking into four tractor trailers on Cat Square Road in August.
