CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Led by U.S. Marshals, a team of law enforcement agencies apprehended a man wanted on several rape charges out of New York in Charlotte on Tuesday night.
The U.S. Marshals Service says an investigation led them to find Eric Tyrone Morris living in an apartment in the 600 block of West Boulevard and working at a local restaurant.
Morris is wanted out of Suffolk County, New York, on warrants for rape in the first degree, two counts of rape in the second degree, sexual abuse in the first degree with personal injury, rape in the first degree with personal injury, sexual conduct against a child in the first degree and endangering the welfare of a child with personal injury.
