YORK COUNTY, N.C. -- A woman allegedly pretending to be a federal officer in York County is now wanted by the officials she’s accused of impersonating.

Deputies are looking for Shevalo Materique Laney, 45, of Charlotte.

The York County Sheriff’s Office says Laney posed as an officer, trespassed and gave false information while saying she worked as a federal agent for the Department of Justice.

Laney may go by the name Carma Ariel.

Anyone with information should contact the sheriff’s office.
