SOCASTEE, S.C. (AP) -- Horry County police are investigating the stabbing death of a woman found at a home in Socastee.
The body of a 23-year-old woman was found late Thursday morning. Her name has not been released while relatives are notified.
Sgt. Robert Kegler said police responded to a report of a stabbing and found the woman dead. Kegler says the death is being treated as a homicide.
Deputy Coroner Tony Hendrick says an autopsy was planned Friday.
