FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (AP) -- Fayetteville police have arrested a woman accused in a shooting death last year.
Police spokesman Gavin MacRoberts says the U.S. Marshal's Violent Fugitive Task Force found 21-year-old Tawanda Tatum at a home in the Bonnetsville community about 7 a.m. Wednesday.
Tatum is charged with first-degree murder, armed robbery and conspiracy.
She's accused of killing 29-year-old James McKinley Branch on Jan. 7, 2012. Branch was found on a city street when officers responded to a report of shots fired. He was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
It was not clear if Tatum has an attorney.
