Armed pharmacy robber sought in Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is looking to identify a man who robbed a pharmacy at gunpoint on Thursday.

Police say Thursday just before 2 p.m., a man robbed Doc's Pharmacy in the 2800 block of Freedom Drive at gunpoint.

The suspect, who's described as standing about 5-foot-10 and weighing 230 pounds, fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction of travel. The suspect was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt with a white t-shirt underneath, jeans, dark shoes, a black hat and black sunglasses.
