ATM stolen from liquor store

Search is on for the person who ripped off an ATM story.

FORT MILL, S.C. -- The search is on for whoever ripped an ATM from the floor at a local liquor store.

The incident happened early Friday morning at Frugal McDoogal, a popular liquor store in Fort Mill.

According to a York County Sheriff Office case report, the burglars forcefully removed the ATM from the lobby.
Deputies found an ATM receipt roll and multiple bolts leading to the exit of the parking lot.

“It’s a little surprising,” said Kris Allison.

Allison manages Area 51 Fireworks, the store sits next to Frugal McDoogal. Her business wasn’t hit by the robbers but she says there may have been a chance her cameras caught them in action.

“We’re still looking through the footage for that night. People probably don’t care about security but we do have a good system put in place.”

If you know any info about this crime, you’re asked to call the York County Sheriff’s Office.
