Both men in custody in correctional officer's murder

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Police now have both of their suspects in custody in connection with the murder of a 27-year-old correctional officer.

Raphael White turned himself in to authorities Saturday, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police said.

White, 30, is facing a murder charge in connection with the death of 27-yearold Bias Easley.

The second suspect in the case, 28-year-old Trevor White, turned himself in on July 14. Trevor is charged with felony accessory after the fact.

Easley, a father of three, was found gunned down outside of his Charlotte home in June.
