Car slams into east Charlotte apartment building, drives off, CMPD says

A car hit an east Charlotte apartment building and drove off Sunday afternoon.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A car hit an east Charlotte apartment building and drove off Sunday afternoon, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police.

CMPD responded to a call from an apartment building in the 6300 block of Four Seasons Lane a little before 2 p.m.

No one was hurt in the crash but the suspect vehicle fled the scene, CMPD said.

Officials have not identified the suspect. Anyone with information on the suspect driver is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
