Bojangles' robbery suspect sought by police

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police is asking for the public’s help identifying the suspect in an armed robbery at a north Charlotte restaurant.

According to CMPD, the suspect entered the Bojangles’ in the 2500 block of North Tryon Street around 6:30 p.m. Sunday. Police say the suspect then presented a weapon while demanding money from the clerk.

The suspect then fled from the store in an unknown direction. Police say the suspect is described as a black male with a thin build and shoulder-length dreadlocks. H was last seen wearing a blue hooded jacket and black pants.

On Monday, the Bojangles’ on Statesville road in north Charlotte was robbed at gunpoint. Police have not said if the robberies are connected.
