Vehicle of woman missing in York Co. found in Charlotte

Mishelle is a mother of three and she's been missing for over a month.

YORK COUNTY, S.C. – 54-year-old Mishelle Renee Calvert, a mother to two adult sons and a 16-year-old daughter, mysteriously vanished.

She made the trip from Florida to North Carolina in April to celebrate her daughter’s birthday. Her daughter lives in Charlotte with her father and stepmother.

But news of Mishelle’s son's arrest in York County prompted her to change plans and extend her trip.

Police say Mishelle was staying in Rock Hill, on Bonnybrook Circle. She was living at her son’s house for one month hoping to handle his affairs while he remains in custody.

Though next-door neighbors that NBC Charlotte spoke with don’t ever recall seeing her.

Family said Mishelle dropped her daughter back home with her father on May 7, and that was the last time they saw her. On May 8, she was expected back in Florida, but never arrived.

Mishelle is described as 5’5" tall and around 200 lbs. She was last seen driving a ford five hundred with a Florida license plate. That car was located in Charlotte early Tuesday.

Family members said they have no idea where Mishelle could be. They said she has always kept in contact with her teenage daughter, and they are praying she is okay.
