CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are investigating after a pedestrian was seriously injured in a north Charlotte crash Wednesday evening.

According to CMPD, officers responded to a 911 call of a crash involving a pedestrian in the 3500 block of Sunset Road a little after 5:30 p.m. When police arrived, they found a man lying in the roadway. The victim was taken to Carolinas Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
