Police asking for help identifying bank robbery suspect

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- CMPD is asking for the public's assistance in identifying an armed robbery suspect.

On Monday October 12th, a man walked into the Wells Fargo Bank located at 2610 W. Sugar Creek Road. He approached a bank employee and handed the employee a note, demanding money. The suspect then fled the scene before receiving any money from the employee.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned black male, last seen wearing a red hoodie, black shades, gloves, and a mask over his face.

Anyone with information regarding this case or the suspect's identity is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
