Police locate Georgia homicide suspect in Mooresville

MOORESVILLE, N.C. -- Mooresville Police located and charged a man wanted for a 2015 homicide in Gwinnett County, Georgia Monday night, according to a press release from MPD.

MPD received information that Jasper Andreas Perez-Molina, the man wanted for murder, was staying with a relative in Mooresville. After receiving additional information, officers went to 1000 block of Mebane Street and found Molina, said the press release.

Molina was transported to Iredell County Jail. He is being held for extradition back to Georgia, according to the press release.
