Prosecutors to seek death penalty in Hickory bar shooting

CATAWBA COUNTY, N.C. – Prosecutors announced Monday that they will seek the death penalty against two Hickory men for an early April shooting outside a Hickory pub.

Dontray Tyrell Cumberlander, 23, and Greydon Keith Hanson, 23, were each charged with three counts of murder in the deaths of 21-year-old Justin Michael Aiken, Cody Manood Bouphavong, 21, and 21-year-old Quajuae Alexus Kennedy.

All three victims were shot outside of a Hickory pub on April 7.
