(KPRC) -- A Texas high school senior is facing a felony charge after allegedly bullying another student on a grand scale.
Katy school district police contend that between June and October, Robert Gutherie, 17, intimidated a younger classmate into giving him up to $6,800. The younger boy allegedly stole the money from his parents.
"I'm very scared of what might happen to me and if I end up with a fine, the felony charge is going to keep me from getting a job," Guthrie said Thursday.
He said that they were actually partners.
"He was taking money from his parents to give it to me so I could purchase things for him and me to share," Guthrie said.
Guthrie said they used the cash to buy videos, electronic games, game consoles and large amounts food.
