CHARLOTTE, N.C. – In the second of three taped shows at ImaginOn in uptown Charlotte, Comedy Central's TV hit the 'Daily Show' joked about the incredibly tight security near Time Warner Cable Arena this week during the DNC.

The show began with three ‘Daily Show’ correspondents fake reporting from various security areas in uptown.

‘You are not going to get through here.  It is locked down,” yells correspondent Jessica Williams.

Host Jon Stewart and the correspondents muse about the tight security, even joking that one fake reporter was allowed in, but the camera man was still stuck behind security.

“I am literally 10 feet away from the convention center and I can’t get there yet I’ve done everything they’ve asked me to do.  I’ve got 40 pounds of credentials around my neck,” said correspondent Jason Jones, who is trapped inside a barricade while riding a segway he borrowed from Charlotte NC Tours.

New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand was a guest on Wednesday's show as well.  The show will tape its third and final episode early Thursday evening at ImaginOn.
