CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Just before the convention gets underway, there will be a huge media event at the N.C. music factory.
Thousands of people from around the world will be in attendance. Vendors will be plenty including food trucks.
Friday, we caught up with Chef Brian Seeley who owns "The Herban Legend" truck .
Seely says the DNC is a big deal for food truck operators, and he'll get to make one of his most popular dishes.
“They're telling us to prepare for a 1,000 people. I'm making the “schwarma” which is an Arabic spiced chicken pita wrap," said Seely.
It's clear food trucks, caterers, and restaurants can expect a big boost.
