CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Uptown Charlotte was buzzing with parties after Bill Clinton wrapped up his speech Wednesday night.
The Foo Fighters were busy performing to a sold out crowd at The Fillmore while the B-52's took their act to a private party for the Creative Coalition, a group of celebrities that advocates for the arts.
Other big names were expected at that private event, including award-winning actress Alfre Woodard.
Woodard was spotted earlier Wednesday ducking into 5 Church restaurant in uptown. MC Hammer was there, too, for another event.
“The city really has rolled out the carpet and everything is perfect, so I’m having a good time,” he said.
Rose Byrne from ‘Bridesmaids' was among other stars expected at the Creative Coalition event that will last into the early Thursday morning hours.
NewsChannel 36 will have a full Wednesday night recap during our morning newscast beginning at 4:30 a.m. live from Time Warner Cable Arena.
