CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Fresh off of their historic wins in London, three of the "Fierce Five" U.S. Olympic gymnasts came to Charlotte to hang out with some kids.

The event -- "Kids Health Goes Gold" -- is all about getting kids to exercise and eat right.

This time it was their fans doing flips, not the gold-medal winners.

Gabby Douglas said the whirlwind since London has been incredible.

"It's all been so fun," she said. "I'm so honored and so happy."

Aly Raisman said it's been one cool thing after the next since their gold-medal wins.

"Jordan and I were hanging out with Eva Longoria -- really cool first stop in Charlotte -- getting prepped and ready for MTV's VMAs."

The girls also visited Levine Children's Hospital on Wednesday afternoon.
