CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- When the Democratic National Convention rolls into town in September, people will be able to get a glimpse into the day-to-day life of the President.
A traveling exhibit will open in Charlotte and will feature dozens of displays, including a cutout fuselage that will show the inside of Air Force One.
Among other exhibits is a full-sized version of the oval office.
“I think this is a (great) opportunity for people,” said Charlotte Mayor Anthony Foxx. "I'm excited about what this will mean for families and for parents and for children.”
The Presidential exhibition is expected to arrive at the end of August and will be located at the corner of West Third and South Mint streets.
