CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- With the world spotlight set to shine on Charlotte, one of the biggest questions is which stars will be in town for the Democratic National Convention?

The big closing party when the convention wraps, called the Super O-Rama,will feature artist Pitbull and the Scissor Sisters as well as actress Jessica Alba and her husband, Cash Warren.

The B-52's will headline a party hosted by the Creative Coalition, NewsChannel 36 confirmed Thursday.

Jimmy Fallon's house band, ‘The Roots,’ are booked as the musical act for the start up Rock On party.

Eminem will headline a private party one night during the convention. Nicki Minaj was confirmed to share the same stage as Eminem, but our partners at the Charlotte Observer have a source saying she may be replaced by rapper Flo-Rida.

NewsChannel 36 has also learned that Rosario Dawson, America Ferrara, Russell Simmons and Taboo, of the Black Eyed Peas, will be attending a Voto Latino party in Charlotte during the convention.

There will be a little bit of something for everyone. The classic rock band Styx will also headline a private party during the week of the convention.

Meanwhile, there is one very big disappointment for a lot of fans. For months now rumors have swirled that Bono and Bruce Springsteen would both be at a private party co-hosted by Politico and One, Bono's humanitarian organization, but a spokeswoman for One told NewsChannel 36 Thursday morning that is “absolutely not happening.”

Other sources are convinced the boss will be in Charlotte, however.

Carolina Fest is the one big celebration that is free and open to the public and NewsChannel 36 is told it will have a big name.  But committee organizers said they won’t announce the name until “we get closer to the event.”

The clock is ticking.
