CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Three people had “potentially life-threatening injuries” Saturday night after a traffic collision on North Tryon Street in Charlotte, Medic officials said.
The victims were taken to Carolinas Medical Center Main around 7 p.m. after a wreck in the 9700 block of North Tryon.
Eighteen firefighters responded to the collision, which caused significant traffic delays, according to the Charlotte Fire Department.
Officials Saturday were not releasing the names or ages of those injured in the crash. Details of what caused the wreck were not immediately available.
