CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Today at 4 p.m. on NBC Charlotte, reporter Amy Cowman takes an inside look at the Allegro Foundation, which works with disabled children.
The building they worked out of was sold and they were out of a home, so Southside Baptist Church offered them a duplex building they had vacant.
The building needs tons of work, which the Allegro Foundation couldn’t afford. But Charlotte-based Lowe’s selected the foundation as their 2012 Heroes project so they are doing all the work to make it functioning so they can have their own new home.
