CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Residents in a northeast Charlotte neighborhood were evacuated Thursday morning while the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department worked with a barricaded subject.
The scene was on Hunter Forest Court in the northeast part of the city.
Officials say the subject, who appeared to be suicidal, had weapons inside the home.
According to police, the subject was the only one inside the residence.
Around 11:40, the man inside the home came out and was taken in to custody.
Police say no one was injured.
Nearby homes were evacuated as a precaution.
