RALEIGH, N.C. -- After Moral Monday comes Thankful Tuesday.
About 200 conservatives stage a rally of their own in Raleigh Tuesday.
They showed their support for Gov. Pat McCrory and the Republican controlled general assembly.
Supporters say they’re pleased with the recent efforts to cut taxes and require identification for voting.
Moral Monday protests have been going on since April, with hundreds of arrests.
Currently, the governor’s rating is down 15 points in just the past month. Forty percent approve of his performance, while 49 percent of North Carolina residents disapprove.
