CORNELIUS, N.C. -- Cornelius Police have made an arrest in connection with the first bomb threat on Tuesday at W. A. Hough High School.
Police say Riley Bowlin, a student, is being charged with one felony count of making a false bomb report, and is currently in transport to the Mecklenburg County Jail.
Hough High was first evacuated at 8:30 Tuesday morning over reports of a suspicious package in a bathroom.

Nothing suspicious was found, and investigators gave the all-clear about an hour later.
Then, just before 1:00, there was a report of a second suspicious package.
Students and teachers once again were sent to the football field.
Police say they did find a package but it wasn't dangerous.
Police did not indicate Bowlin was responsible for the second threat, and say the case is still under investigation.
