HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. – Huntersville Police are trying to track down a man who forced a Game Stop employee to give him a refund.
The incident happened at the Game Stop on Lindholm Drive. Officials say on Tuesday the man demanded the employee to refund his money after a purchase he’d made the previous day.
Police say an argument ensued. The suspect walked around the counter and assaulted the employee and forced the worker to give him money from the cash register.
Investigators say once the man received the cash he fled the scene on foot towards Sam Furr Road.
The store employees described the suspect as a black male, in his late 20’s to early 30’s, 5’10” and weighing around 200 lbs., with short black hair in tight corn rows, wearing dark pants and a yellow shirt with an off-white jacket. The suspect also had a black drawstring backpack and wore red and black gloves.
