CHARLOTTE, N.C. – ‘Bachelorette’ star Emily Maynard’s ex-fiance is back in Charlotte, but he says he’s not sure if he’ll see Maynard while he’s in town.

Jef Holm flew back to Charlotte Thursday to help promote his company, People Water. The bottled water makes its debut on North Carolina grocery store shelves at the new The Baby Grocery Store at 10225 Park Road in Pineville.

“It’s awesome, the coolest feeling ever,’ Holm said.  “Two years ago when we started People Water, that was the goal to be able to travel around the world and see the benefits of what we do,”

Holm stopped by the NBC Charlotte studios for an interview about the launch, and of course, a quick chat about hometown girl Maynard.

“She’s great. I don’t think either of us have any hard feelings towards each other.  She’s an amazing mom, an amazing person, one of the most incredible people I’ve ever met in my whole life and I learned so much being with her.  I had a great time,” he said.

Holm was renting an apartment but has since moved back to Utah where he’s from.

“But the truth of it is we met on a TV show, we hung out a number of times, afterwards we got engaged, tried to make it work, tried to date.  I mean, I moved to Charlotte.  We tried really hard and it was very real and she’s an incredible person.”

He says he has no interest in being ABC’s ‘Bachelor’ on future seasons and isn’t looking for love at all right now.

“I’m definitely not dating anyone right now.  I wouldn't even consider myself on the market right now. I'm just hanging out and trying to get everything settled down,” he said.

He’s amused at some of the attention the spotlight has generated, including the fact that people often refer to him as “Jef with one F.”

“I got hit up by one of the other guys on the show, Tony.  He said, ‘Jef your hair is following me now,’ so I guess my hair has a Twitter, my ‘F’ has a Twitter.”

He plans to spend time with his family in Greenville, South Carolina before heading back out west.
