BOONE, N.C. – A man and woman wanted for stealing $10,000 worth of iPads from a Boone Walmart were captured at a separate Walmart more than 100 miles away.

Officers received a tip that Brian Oniel Jensen and Kaitlin Elizabeth Jensen were at a Walmart in Norton, Virginia on Friday, and local officials found the two, Boone police said in a statement.

The duo was wanted for stealing $10,000 worth of iPads from a Boone Walmart on Watauga Village Drive recently.  Kaitlin was located and arrested immediately, but officers had to chase Brian Jensen on foot and found a pistol in his waistband when he was finally caught.

The pair is at a detention center in Virginia and also faces numerous weapons and drug charges.  They will be expedited back to North Carolina for a trial.
