Papa John's robbery
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A Papa John’s pizza employee was assaulted and robbed by three people while delivering pizza on Saturday night, according to a Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department report.
The assault took place around 10 p.m. at an apartment in the 2600 block of Dalecrest Drive just north of Interstate 85.
The 32-year-old man suffered minor injuries from three people when he was delivering food, police said.
The man was not taken to the hospital. It’s unclear how much money was taken.
