CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Crews worked a two-alarm structure fire in the 7000 block of Providence Square Drive in south Charlotte on Wednesday afternoon.

Heavy smoke billowed from the apartment building.

A medic on the scene told NBC Charlotte that no one was injured.
