CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Showtime's hit TV series Homeland is gearing up to film its third season right here in the Queen City and they're looking for extras.
Yes, you could be like the Waxhaw mother of four who is the stand in for the show's lead, Claire Danes, or maybe you just want to get in on the action behind the scenes and say you played a part in the award-winning show.
Filming for the show will take place in Charlotte and its surrounding areas. First things first, anyone interested in working on the show should be from the area or live within easy driving distance.
The show is looking for folks of all ages, gender, types and ethnicity, but specifically, the show has a need for those of South American or Latin descent, both male and female, "Washington Power Types", as they're referred, such as lawyers, politicians, bankers, businessmen and women, reporters and news anchor-types-- men and women for all.
Other needs of the show are "CIA/Government Types", ie. computer techs, analysts, and "suits", actual doctors, nurses, EMTs and orderlies, and real police or military members to play law enforcement roles on the show.
For medical personnel and military and law enforcement-types, actual experience is required.
