The surviving Boston bombing suspect will appear on an upcoming issue of Rolling Stone.

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is on the cover of the magazine due out Aug. 3.

The purpose of the article, “The Bomber,” is to “deliver a riveting and heartbreaking account of how a charming kid with a bright future became a monster," the magazine says.

Many people are speaking out against the cover on the Rolling Stone Facebook page, some of them saying the victims are the ones who deserve a magazine cover.

Demi Clark, the Fort Mill woman who crossed the Finish Line as the bombs exploded, agrees.  She called the cover hurtful.

"To have lived through what I lived through, to see people not living around you.  This is not someone who should be idolized," said Clark over the phone to NBC Charlotte, "I think Rolling Stone should donate the money it makes off the issue to the One Fund Boston."

CVS, Walgreens and other national retailers have said they will not sell the issue.
