GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Sen. Lindsey Graham wants to talk to business and political leaders in South Carolina about how to make the country more energy independent.
The Republican senator will hold a round-table discussion Monday at Clemson University's International Center for Automotive Research in Greenville.
Graham will also tour the facility and view demonstrations of alternative energy sources that can help create clean and affordable electricity.
Graham says he plans to talk about the need to produce additional oil in the United States as well as moving toward using alternative fuels.
