Plan 2017 Easter fun for the kids without spending a lot of bucks. Here’s a list of Easter egg hunts, Easter Bunny visits and other Easter activities in Charlotte and surrounding areas, organized by date. If they’re not free, the cost is listed. Follow each link to get all the information that you’ll need on the event, including pre-registration info, if required. Know of others? Any child aged 2 through grade 5 can participate. There will be separate hunts for younger and older children. Every child will hear the true meaning of Easter, every family will walk away with candy and a gift bag, and a few lucky children will walk away with some fun door prizes. After the egg hunt, stick around for some snacks and fun on our inflatables. After the egg hunt, families can linger and enjoy our inflatables, games, and snacks.

Now in its third year, the Easter Egg 400 is an egg-ceptional event featuring entertainment by Mr. Nigel & Friends, games and crafts, like Easter bingo, a bean bag toss, an egg roll contest and face painting, as well as a bunny petting zoo (weather permitting), photos with the Easter Bunny and a showing of the movie “Ice Age: The Great Egg-Scapade.” Of course, the marquee event of the morning is the Easter egg hunt where each child will get to take home eggs filled with candy and prizes.
 
New this year, the Carrot Patch VIP package includes event admission, breakfast in the Great Hall, a special Carrot Patch lanyard and a NASCAR Hall of Fame paint set for each child.
 
General admission is $8 per person (kids under age 2 are free). This event is free for Rookie Racers Kid Club members. The Carrot Patch VIP package is $18 per person or Rookie Racers Kid Club members can upgrade to VIP status for $10.
