CONCORD, N.C. -- A perfect day for a 5-mile race over and under obstacles, across monkey bars and through mud pits.
NFL great Randy Moss joined the Spartan Race this morning at Porter Farms in Cabarrus County. He was part of a 10-person team running to honor the memory of a friend’s father in Charlotte who died suddenly last year.
The Spartan Race takes runners through a variety of obstacles along the course… and then makes them literally “jump over fire” before they cross the finish line.
Moss has competed in several Spartan Races, including the Sprint, Super and the Beast races known as the “Trifecta.”
