Passion To Scare Leads to Family's Frightening Halloween Scene

NBC Health Reporter Erika Edwards examines the science of fear and why we can't get enough of it.

GREENSBORO, NC – When it comes to getting ready for Halloween, it is a family affair at the William's house.

The Williams family has been decorating their house for the last four years, but this is not your typical spooky setup.

All the decorations are either home-made or store bought with a personal spin. And according to the family there are hundreds of parts that go into their display.

If you want to check it out the address is: 2024 Lynwood Dr, Greensboro

If you dare to visit their house you will see a skeleton graveyard, ‘pet sematary’, and a zombie hazard area, so far. As Halloween gets closer the family says there is more to come.

Ken Williams has lived in their neighborhood his whole life and says he got his love for Halloween trick-or-treating there as a child. He says he decorates the house to continue that feeling for the neighborhood kids.
