Spend time with dad this weekend at the Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden

Dads are taking over Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens in Belmont for Father's Day weekend.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Dads are taking over at Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden this weekend, all in honor of Father’s Day.

This weekend, dads get in free to celebrate their big day! Both Saturday and Sunday, families can enjoy live music, food trucks, bourbon tastings, and even a garden hike.

“The hike is a half mile, easy hike and our guides will be pointing out some trees and plants along the way,” says events director, Katy Widrich. “Kids are welcome to go on that hike with their dads.”

The events run from 11am to 3pm each day, a great way to spend time with dad.

“There’s so many places in the garden to walk around, and in addition to just it’s natural beauty, with the extra activities going on, it’ll be a fun time for the whole family,” Widrich says.
