CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Police captured armed robbery suspect Alphonso Stevenson in Washington D.C.
Investigators say Alphonso Stevenson pulled a gun on another man outside Stuart’s Grocery Store in the Belmont area three weeks ago and made off with the victim’s wallet and $900.
Police say Stevenson used the man’s debit card at a nearby gas station.
Alphonso Stevenson is 6-foot-4, 285 pounds and has a long history of drug charges.
