CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A man accused in an armed robbery turned himself in to police after seeing himself on Monday night's NewsChannel 36 Fugitive Files report.
Officers say Timothy Reid surrendered Tuesday morning at police headquarters.
Police say Reid was caught on video inside the General Beauty Supply in a shopping center on Sardis Road. The video shows Reid carrying a shotgun in one hand and a laptop he stole from the store in his other hand.
Police say Reid held up the store last Friday morning.
Police say his accomplice and getaway driver, Andre Chong, is also in custody.
Reid is charged with armed robbery.
