CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A rape suspect is on the loose and you can help track him down thanks to our special partnership with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department's Violent Criminal Apprehension Team.
Police say James Jones and the victim got into an argument. He's accused of grabbing her and then forcing her to have sex with him at gunpoint at a home on Newland Road just off Lasalle Street.
A witness called 911, but police say Jones got away.
Jones is 6-feet-2, weighs 200 pounds and may be in the north Charlotte area. He was last seen in a 2002 silver Cadillac Deville with North Carolina tag XSZ-1986.
