A national campaign is under way to get Starbucks to provide organic dairy milk at its stores and to do away with milk that might be affected by GMOs.

GMO Inside has launched the multi-media campaign that calls on people to call Starbucks, post on its Facebook page and bring printable tickets to Starbucks store managers asking them to make the change.

“While not genetically modified themselves, dairy products are not immune to the insidious impacts of GMOs,” the group posts on its website.”Cows living in concentrated animal feeding operations (CAFOs) are fed a grain diet comprised almost entirely of genetically modified corn, soy, alfalfa, and cotton seed.”

GMO Inside says Starbucks already provides rBGH-free dairy and USDA-certified organic soy milk.
