CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools and the Mecklenburg County Health Department are working on a plan that would include vaccinating students to help fight the flu.

The seasonal flu shot and H1N1 shot would be available to students as part of the plan.

There is no date set yet because the county is still waiting on shipments to come in.

A student would have to get permission from their parents before getting vaccinated.
