Researchers at Duke University reveal the best way to lose excess fat.

They analyzed changes in body composition from three different types of exercise in overweight adults. The conclusion: aerobics and weight training, or a combination of both.

While all three are healthy ways of getting physical activity, aerobic exercise seemed to be the best way to burn fat. Older adults who have had muscle loss may benefit more from weight training.
