There's new research that finds a link between obesity and vitamin D.

British researchers found people who are obese may not have enough vitamin D in their system. The vitamin is stored in fatty tissue.

Doctors say if there is an excessive amount of fat it could prevent the vitamin from circulating in the bloodstream.

Experts say more time outdoors could boost levels of the vitamin and help people lose weight.
